Yeah, the internet is pretty stupid. Anyways,
Darmok is one of the best episodes of Star Trek ever. I love the idea of an entire alien species whose language is based on metaphors that are themselves based on historical events. It was nice seeing the Federation encounter a situation where the much vaunted universal translator was about as useful as a preacher in a whore house.
